New blog!

Meet the reason why it was so quite lately here on the blog: I've created a brandnew blog www.annelieshellem.com! After three years of blogging as ' The Fashion Loonatic' it felt like the name and design didn't fit me anymore, so it was important to let the blog evolve with me to something new that fits my style so much better now, it definitely gets me even more excited to blog! Scotch On Wheels

Hey guys! I recently visited the most fashionable truck ever aka the Scotch On Wheels truck from Scotch & Soda. The truck made it's way from the fashion weeks to our own Belgian coast where it stops at several cities. The cool thing about it is that it contains exclusive accessoiries that aren't available at the regular Scotch & Soda stores. I immediately gravitated towards the pink hat that I'm wearing in my second look, you know I love my pinks! :) But all the other accessoiries (both for women and men) were amazing as well, think about bright colors, fun prints and cool patches. 

For the first look I opted for a classic Scotch look and for the second look I went allll the way with color and prints. My favourite piece is the blazer from my second look, you'll definitely see more looks with this one because it's so versatile! This friday the Scotch On Wheels truck will make it's stop at Knokke, definitely worth a visit :)

New in

I always switch to nude and white colors for my nails during summer, it just feels so clean and fresh. This one from Essence in the color 'take a break' is the perfect white one, it's not too white like you just painted tipp-ex on your nails, but just the perfect soft white hue :) I also got this book from Garance Doré. It seems like everyone in instagram got it but if you like the style of her blog, you will definitely like the book too! xx A.

This weekend

Finally it was the perfect weather to wear my new off-shoulder dress! I already know that I'll pack this one with me on my holiday to Marbella, I only need a good straw hat to go with it. My previous one is so worn out that it has lost it's shape and there's birdshit on it that won't go away haha. Hope you had a lovely weekend! xx A.

Summer 2016 so far through my phone

1. Finally ice-cream season again! This one was huuuge 2. Chilling by the pool <3 3. When I was with Mazda in Barcelona 4. The view from the Mazda yacht, it was a dream!

My go to make-up look lately: winged eyeliner, white shimmery eyeshadow as a base on the eyelid and some lightbrown eyeshadow in the crease. 4. Matching my drink with the wall :)

I'm alot in the mood for black clothes lately, this is one of my favourite looks I wore past weeks.

Sorry for the headless pictures, it was just windy as helll! My hair was all over the place :p Still no sign of a decent summer here in Belgium and I'm craving the sun so much! Luckely I've booked my trip to Marbella, so I know there's still some sunshine waiting for me :) 

I've also recently passed my internship and my thesis, which means that I'm graduating this year, wooop! :D Ready for the 'real' life know! But first I'm going to Rotterdam this weekend with the girls to celebrate!

Red x Black

Hey guys! How's your friday going? Good? This look was shot inside because it was raining buckets and buckets over here, but I think it has a cool effect to work with flash sometimes :) And a total black look this time, doesn't happen as much but sometimes I'm not in the mood for alot of color or prints. That's what I love about fashion, you can adapt it to your mood :) 

Besides the black I chose to put a pop of red in the look. I really love this one from Estée Lauder. It's called the Envy Lip Potion. It feels like a gloss, but stays like a lipstick, I'm a fan!

Visual diary: Barcelona with Mazda

Mazda invited me to go to Barcelona to attend the #mazdasounds DJ-contest in collaboration with Tomorrowland. This contest was held on a yacht that sailed close to Barcelona while we enjoyed the music of the 20 finalists who were selected from thousands of candidates. The 6 winners came from all over Europe and will go to Tomorrowland next month to play their set live on the Mazda stage, how cool is that? Here are some pictures of my weekend in Barcelona with Mazda, enjoy! :)

The party on the yacht lasted for the whole day, so after that we went to dinner at Shôko, loved this view on the way back!

Quick snap from my outfit before heading to dinner, I went for a classic black jumpsuit from Zara.

Same outfit but changed my make-up to red lips and a heavy eye to party in Pacha, I wanted to visit that club for aaages!

The view from my room the next morning, i only slept for 4 hours but i decided to wake up early to take some outfit pictures before we left to the airport. I'll show you the pictures in a separate outfitpost.
