Lancôme Energie De Vie

I've got something interesting for you if you have dry and dull skin! Lancôme énergie de vie is a revitalising and antioxidising lotion that's focussed on hydrating the skin.

The main goal of this lotion is to fight the signs of fatigue that could turn into signs of ageing. These signs could be the result of lack of sleep, stress, pollution... Energie de vie contains extracts of goji berries and lemon to help the skin in preventing these signs of fatigue.

As you can see the consistency of this product is quite watery. It feels light and gel-like on the skin and it sinks in very quickly! My skin feels soft, hydrated and plump after I used it. I use it on it's own or under my daily moisturiser. I've also used it as a serum in the evening and I woke up with softest skin in the morning! Definitely give this one a try if you're searching for an extra shot of hydration for your skin :)

My current skincare products

I'm using these products for months now so i thought it would be interesting for you to share my thoughts about them :)

The Shiseido Pureness cleanser is something i only use at the evening. It's that type of cleanser that foams, but it isn't harsh on the skin. I have sensitive skin, so i would recommend it if you want a cleanser that does the job really well and is friendly to your skin.

My favourite eyecream ever is the Antipodes kiwi seed eyecream, i just looove this stuff! It sinks fast into the skin, which is good if you want to apply make-up afterwards. It contains alot of natural ingredients like avocado oil and it hydrates perfectly!

I've also found the perfect daycream for my sensitive skin. It's the well known Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream. I was on the hunt for a cream that hydrates very well without breaking my skin out for such a long time and i'm so happy to finally found the one! I even use this in the evening as a nightcream :)

Hope you had a nice week so far! Tell me if you recommend any products for sensitive skin, i really want to discover some more stuff! :) xx, A.

Favourite skincare

Today i want to talk to you about my favourite skincare. I love to try out new products and i can really enjoy to use a product in my daily routine. I try to keep my products as natural and organic as possible because my skin is very sensitive so it's important that i don't use products that contain any harsh chemicals.

1. Philosophy purity made simple 3-in-1 cleanser - This is my first step in my evening routine. After i splashed my face with water, i massage this into my skin to remove my make-up. It's actually a make-up remover, eye make-up remover and toner all in one bottle! I really like to use this cleanser because it leaves my skin very soft and supple. My skin often feels dry and squaky clean after i use a cleanser, so this cleanser is my favourite numero uno!

2. The body shop tea tree oil - Tea tree oil works well against acne and other impurities on the skin. I apply this oil on the areas of my face where i have blemishes.

3. Antipodes eye cream  - I love this eyecream! It's organic and it contains alot of kiwi seed oil, avocado oil and carrot oil. It's rich in vitamin C from the New-Zealand kiwifruit which helps moisturise and soften fine lines. It sinks very fast into my skin and makes the delicate skin around my eyes very happy :)

4. Dr. organic dead sea miniral mud mask - If i had to choose my ultra favourite product out of all these favourites, i would choose this one. This face mask contains lots and lots of natural ingredients like aloe vera leaf juice, plankton extract, kelp extract, pine needle oil, wild mint oil... And it's free from parabens, SLS and fragrances! It leaves my skin very soft and nourished. I can say it reduces my blemishes very well! Definitely try this one out if you can get your hands on it!

5. Yves Rocher daycream - I love this daycream because it doesn't make my skin break out, which alot of creams do. There are 7 plant extracts in it that have an anti-aging effect. The cream itself is not very thick and absorbs very quick into my skin. No miracles, but a nice cream that moistures my face very well.

Beauty talk

Morning routine

In the morning I use a daycream (right now it’s the L’oreal Skin Perfection, but I like to try out new things regularly). After that I apply some eye cream from Clinique (repair wear laser focus).
After that it’s make-up time! I use a BB cream from Garnier, Mac blush (Sincere), Max Factor (Clump defy extensions false lash effect) mascara and I use an eyebrow pencil from MAC (Spiked). Most of the time I use a lipstick but I have a million different brands and shades. A few favorites are Chanel (Orchidée), & Other Stories (Tissue Pink) and Clinique (Super Strawberry).
On my hair I always use a hair oil and it’s Oleo Intense from Syoss at the moment. It just makes my hair a lot softer and easier to style.

Products i use during the day
I don’t use a lot of products during the day, only some hand cream from Kiehl’s and a lip balm, also from Kiehl’s.

Evening routine
In the evening I always use my clarisonic. It’s the best thing I ever had and it leaves my skin clean and glowing. I use a cleanser from Kiehl’s (Acai Damage-Minimizing Cleanser), a Calendula Herbal-Extract toner and Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery.
I also apply the same eye cream I use in the morning (Clinique repair wear laser focus).

Favourite product of the moment
I don’t know if it counts as a product but I’m hooked om my clarisonic.
Beauty tip
For me the products from Kiehl’s work very well but you have to try a lot of products out to compare and see what works for you. Every body is different. Besides that: water. Loads of water. And just healthy food in general. If a eat greasy food for a weak, my skin looks horrible.
