Hello, it's me

A big kiss for all of your patience lately! I know i was a bit absent lately... My thesis is FINALLY finished so that means that i have alot more time on my hands now :) So happy, i really craved to blog during my thesis but that wouldn't have been such a great idea because my time was very limited, i only slept around 4 hours a day for a week so i was really dead when i finished it.

Anyways, i'm back here on a regular basis and i even want to try to put up one blogpost a day :) We'll see how that goes! xx A.

New mac highlighter & lipstick

I'm getting more and more into make-up lately. I already replicated a look from a tutorial on youtube which turned out pretty good :) So i tought it was time to invest in some good products! I went for a highlighter (soft & gentle) and a matt lipstick (velvet teddy).

This highlighter is absolutely worth the money! It will take me literally years to use this one up. And it's also so stunning on the skin, it gives a perfect dewy look! The woman in the store also told me that this is a popular one and i can totally understand why :)

This matt lipstick in velvet teddy is a nice nude color, perfect to wear as an everyday lipstick. The color is really subtle on my lips but it makes them look just that bit fuller.

Beauty favourites

I just took this picture for the instagramz, but i wanted to talk a bit more in depth about my favourite beautyproducts of the moment with you.

1. Chanel nailpolish (Nr.535/May): I normally don't splurge on nailpolish, but this color was just so beautiful and i couldn't find a dupe for it. I'm obsessed with everything pink and this is just the perfect pastel color! Not gonna lie, the quality is just the same as cheaper nailpolish in my opinion.

2. MAC eyeshadow (Nylon): This is the color of eyeshadow i just always always need to have! It's great as a highlighter on the browbone or in the inner corner of the eyes. I usually put it all over my eyelids, it makes me look more awake :)

3. Chloé showergel: This smells so divine! It's like you're showering with parfume. I use this when i'm having one of those pampering days in the badroom with nailpolih, bodylotion, hair- and facemask... I really enjoy those moments!

4. Essence lipstick (06/Barely there): This is such a good natural lipstick for me! My lips are quite red from itself so the color is not so dark when i'm wearing it. It also makes my lips look a bit fuller, which is a good bonus ofcourse :)

My MAC essentials

These are my first products from mac and i can already say it will be two of my make-up essentials. The lipstick is in color 'ruby woo', it's bright red and has a matte finish. Because of the matte finish it really stays on the lips for a long time. It survived a meal and drinks like nothing happened! The lady from the mac shop said she never carried the lipstick with her when she goes out because she knows it will stay on all evening. For the eyeshadow i chose the color ' nylon frost'. For me this is a basic color i use on my eyelids, browbone or inner eyecorner because it really highlights and opens the eye.
