Slip-ons

Shoesshoesshoes, you can never have enough pairs, isn't it? My number one rule for buying shoes is that they have to be comfy. I've bought too much shoes in the past i just couldn't resist (mostly on sale). But in the end they were a teenytiny bit too small / high / pointy / bright / etc... At the end of the season they still hadn't see anything but the inside of my shoe closet. Lesson learned. So now i only try to buy shoes i'm totally head over heels with (pun intended), even when they are on sale!

These slip-ons from Manfield recently caught my eye. Perfect to create a casual outfit or to give your feet a rest from heels. It's also very easy to match: wear it with boyfriend or skinny jeans, shorts, even skirts will go with them :) They are literally everywhere since Celine used them in their collection. Alot of brands sell slip-ons so there is one for every budget and there is also almost one for every outfit because they come in so many different colors, patterns and materials.

I really like the looks above. As you can see slip-ons can easily be combined. I love how well the leopard ones go with more of a dressed outfit like the third look. They give all the outfits a sturdy but casual vibe. Plus, because of the large range of materials and colors they come in, you can wear them from winter to summer! I think it's clear, i looove this trend. Sadly enough i don't own a pair of slip-ons yet. I declare the hunt as opened!

My first designer shoes

Behold. My first designer shoes! It's not a girly Louboutin pump but some badass Givenchy sneakers. These babies listen to the name 'confetti sneakers'. I really love fashion with a fun twist and these sneakers absolutely fit into that 'fun fashion' category! I bought them while i was in Paris. Quite a historical moment in my fashion life :) When i heard the *peep* of the payment system i could only think 'it's official, it's official, they are mine now and i can't go backkk!'. And right after you have paid, another salesman stands there with a smile to hand you your brandnew shoes over in a shiny white bag. I couldn't stop smiling when i stepped through the door (that they hold open for you, it's all the little things that do the trick!) back to the Parisian streets. Anyway, i can't wait to show them to you in an outfit! Now, let there be confetti, because life is a party!

Brogue collection

I love brogues! I like how they can give an outfit some instant preppiness. My absolute favourites are the silver ones. They can make a look so much more interesting and the silver surprisingly matches with alot of colors! I prefer to wear them with some skinny pants that are rolled up to the ankles. What's on my brogue-wishlist are some simple black onces like these from Church's, they are just timeless!

Tomorrow i will be in Paris for some serious shopping! I will keep you posted, au revoir!

Brilliant Brogues

it's no secret that androgynous and masculine dressing can look good on woman too. The roots of this shoe locate in Scotland and Ireland. Did you know the perforations had the function to drain the water when it rained? If you want to wear a flat shoe and you think ballerinas are to girly for you, this is the one for you. Personally, it think they look great under a chino. Plus, brogues can be worn during all seasons! What do you think?
