 I promised to show you some pictures of beachfestival WeCanDance i went to, so here it is! Wish i was still surounded by palmtrees and coconuts but i'll have to do it with a grey sky at the moment. So counting the days until i leave for Spain! 21 days left! :)

My 2014 summer outfits

Since today was pretty rainy and filled with some boring thesis writing i decided to look at some summer outfits from last year instead of the raindrops on my window. I must say alot of outfits i wore aren't up on my alley anymore today. Which is a good thing! A like to see how style can evolve through time. But there's also alot of stuff i still enjoy to wear today. These above are some of my favourites :) Happy weekend! xx

Laurent's guardian

What do you think of my Saint Laurent's little guardian? Isn't he cuuute? I found this pink haired fellow at the flea market a while ago, so i adopted him and gave him a place to live in my closet :) It (he/she has no name yet, any suggestions?) gives my wardrobe a fun little touch, definitely going to add some more creatures to the collection!

Beach look

If you follow me on instagram (@thefashionloonatic) you'll probably know that i went to WeCanDance, a festival at the coast here in Belgium. We were so lucky because the weather was perfectooo! This is what i wore that day, i will definitely show you some pictures of the festival later! I opted for these two pieces from a young Belgian brand called Friday. I just wore the dress during daytime, but it cools down very quickly in the evening at the beach so the long cardigan came in pretty handy! Oh, it was love at first sight, i'm pretty sure you'll see this effordless beauty in another outfitpost! :)

I hope i don't look too crazy for wearing a knitted jumper during summertime, haha :) I must admit i went for something lighter in the afternoon. This was taken on a sunday morning when it was still a bit chilly, so i wanted to wear something cozy :) This weekend will be so fun, i'm going to the WeCanDance festival at the Belgian coast. I'm going to take my (big and heavy aka not very festival friendly) camera with me, so expect some festivalvibes next week! It actually will be my second festival this summer and both were unplanned, gotta love last minute chances! xx

New in

Behold my only sales purchase! It's been years since i bought so little during the sales. That's because i'm all about the 'buy less, choose well' lately. When i'm hesitating about something in the fittingroom for example, i don't buy it. I only buy something when i'm absolutely over the moon with it and if the piece has the perfect color, texture, fit,... Yepyep i'm a bit (alot) critical when it comes down to fashion purchases. I just bought too much clothing in the past that i thought was such a good find because of the price reduction, but that i didn't have worn for ages. You can only learn from your mistakes, right? :) That reminds me of the fact that i need to do a closet clearance asap! Hugs, Annelies
