Silver linings

It's no secret that i love an outfit inspired from men's fashion. On woman it looks nonchalant but chic at the same time. I added one of my favourite shoes from Zara for this one. It surprises me that silver matches with so many colours! I'm still wearing my worn-out blazer, but i think i might have found a follow up at Maison Scotch. And how crazy is it that 2013 is almost over? This year flew by so freakin fast! (i keep saying this each year) At this moment i'm doing some preparations for new years eve. I just finished making chocolatemousse and to much chocolate has disappeared in my mouth :p Still haven't figured out which outfit to wear! What are you guys doing/wearing on new years eve?

These pearl earrings from Asos really are a great design for a small price. It's a nice variation on the classic earring, pearls with an attitude i would say. Perfect to wear for christmas!

New in

Its a very rainy and boring sunday here a casa d'Annelies so i decided to show you the items that i recently bought.

First this ultra soft scarf from Zara. It has two different sides so you can choose a side depending on your outfit. And its reallyyy big! To give you an illustration: i can use it as a blanket when i'm sipping tea and watching tv.

A navy knitted jumper which is an essential this season! I will post an outfit with this newbie soon :)

I bought this cleanser from Philosophy because i heard alot of good things about it, so i had high expectations. My skin often feels tight after i used a cleanser. But when i cleanse my face with this one, my face feels soft and clean like no other! My high expectations are satisfied. Definitely worth a try!

In this post i talked about how i love a dark plummed lip. I don't wear lipstick that often, but i'm exited to give this one a try. This lipstick is from Rimmel in the colour 04.

The last items are these two rings from h&m. I really like minimalistic jewelry because it looks elegant and when it comes to rings, the more minimalistic designs are on your hand, the better!

Tomboy perfection. This is how i would describe this collection. If i would have to choose one piece of the collection, i would go for the blue pants on the second picture. Not to speak of the white sneakers, they are perfect if you like a sporty je-ne-sais-quoi look. It doesn't happen very often that i like a collection so much it is difficult not to post all 36 looks on my blog :) To admire the full collection, you can go to style.com 

Brilliant Brogues

it's no secret that androgynous and masculine dressing can look good on woman too. The roots of this shoe locate in Scotland and Ireland. Did you know the perforations had the function to drain the water when it rained? If you want to wear a flat shoe and you think ballerinas are to girly for you, this is the one for you. Personally, it think they look great under a chino. Plus, brogues can be worn during all seasons! What do you think?

Worn out

Worn out to death, that is what my black blazer is. I think you can see it on the pictures: the black isn't that intense anymore and it has lost its shape, but it gives me a nice feeling when something is worn until it almost falls apart. It's definitaly my most loved piece. A black blazer can be worn with anything! I think it's time to say goodbye and look for new one, i just can't miss a black blazer in my closet. In my opinion it's an essential piece for your wardrobe :)

Dark plum lips

Dark burgundy or plum coloured lips are really on trend this season in beautyland. It's a great change if you like to wear red lipstick, plus i think it also looks as classy as the red variant but in a different way. Can't wait to try this look myself! I think i will wear this with light eye make-up for daytime and dark brown eyeshadow for nighttime.
