B x W

When i'm in a hurry or i don't know what to wear, i always reach out to some black and white. You can never go wrong with that combination. For the evening i can put on some heels, switch the coat for a black blazer and pop on a bright red lipstick. Easy and versatile, what do you want more?

Editorial love

As much as i love minimalistic outfits, i like to see lots of colours and patterns too. I think stylist Grace Cobb did a wonderfull job mixing the right pieces together. How awesome does the zebracoat look with that blue bag? I also love the strong brow make-up artist Laura Dominique created for this look, definitely one of my favourite editorials so far!

Oversized & comfort

I can say i have fashionmoods. A dress mood, a heels mood, an all black outfit mood,... but now im in a comfy mood. A pair of sporty sneakers, an oversized coat and a superduper thick scarf are my keypieces to fulfill this mood. I recently purchased this coat from Massimo Dutti. I think it has the perfect camel colour and it can be worn at any age. I can imagine me as an old wrinkly lady and still wearing this coat :) Happy sunday!

Isabel Marant x H&M

The Isabel Marant x H&M collection has launched in stores and  the online shop. I will admit that i wasn't that enthusiastic at first sight. But i've seen alot of interesting outfits with some Marant pieces in the blogosphere. Below i listed my most desirable items from the bohemian inspired collection. The sequin legging is my numero uno. It's great for parties and when well styled, also wearable during the day. Does your fashionheart flutter after seeing the result from the collaboration?

Trend: perfect plaid

Plaid is the trend this season and it comes in all different shapes. From oversized at Tommy Hilfiger and Stella McCartney, ultra-bright at Issey Miyake to grunge at Saint Laurent and romantic at Prada. The traditional Scottish print has certainly found its international way. Below i've selected my favourite plaidey looks from the fall '13 collections for you, enjoy!

Blue leopard

Time for some colours! I love how the blue of the bag matches  the pink blazer so well. The bag itself is just perfection: not to big, not to small, sturdy and the hairy leopard part makes me want to constantly stroke my bag :) The weather becomes really cold here, so i had to wear a coat over it. Speaking of coats, i recently bought a new one that might have something to do with the oversized trend. More about that later!

Cotton candy and cupcakes

You cannot have missed it: pink isn't just for cupcakes anymore. The colour has found its way in the closet of many fashionista's and brings some fresh air into the classic palette of navy, black and grey. Pink can give a look a girly and glamorous feel, but it can also give it a darker edge when it's combined with black. The new way to wear pink comes in a whole other level then the simple sweetness of cotton candy and cupcakes. And above all: real woman wear pink, isn't it?
